Bikers!?

Have a quick question.
Was thinking about getting my exhaust wrapped.
Is there someone local that can be recommended or is it easy enough to do it myself?

I've watched a couple videos and understand how to do it.
Just have some questions, like do I split the exhaust as I think mine splits into like 4 or 5 pieces and do each one individually, feel that would be thee better bet and then use some proper spray to get a nice even colour and to cover up the steel clamps.

Since mine is normal steel, it's become discoloured, so either I do the wrap, have it ceramic coated or go balls to the wall and have a Ti pipe manufacturered.

Happy 2022 all.

Just a friendly reminder to check your valves according to your service intervals.

Didn't realise the urgency of this, now my bike is just sitting in the garage and cannot start.

Valves too tight I presume but luckily not a super expensive fix but still, something that could have been avoided.

Ride safe and keep the rubber side up.

Pro tip: ALWAYS WEAR your GLOVES!

I learnt the hard way and hurt my fingers from a random stone!

Always wear full gear for that matter.

Even bugs can make you sore on high speeds.

Hows the adventures ?
Here its so awful, flood like rain every night which is resulting in sand and gravel all over the roads.

Too dangerous , I make the cars follow behind me at 20 kmh over those gravel death traps[emoji28]

Sounds like you in JHB.
Hoping for clear skies on Sunday so that I can get out.

Wanted to post this in the deals thread, but felt more at home here;

R2500 (About R3000+- incl taxes) for two packtalk freecom units.
Basically the same thing as the bold, but it doesn't have mesh.
While it's a good deal, it's unfortunately nothing like the Packtalk units, normal or bold.

These are designed for rider to passenger Comms.
Yes it doesn't have mesh but neither does the Freecom4+.

If you love looking at stats over time, like me, I recommend getting the app called Fuelio:
Fuelio - fuel log, mileage and costs tracker for Android and iOS

Not only is it useful to track your fuel-ups, but you can also track your maintenance/upgrade costs to your bike. You can even create a Seller's Report/Custom Report, how cool is that?

You can also backup your data to Google Drive.

Best of all, it is completely free. Kudos to the developers making this awesome app!
