"Yes man I didnt disclose this. Didnt think it was important. Any potential buyer I sent pictures and asked them if they wanted to video call and see the phone fully operational. It is a cracked phone. It's not brand new or in excellent condition or any other options on carb. I made it clear the phone is cracked and damaged"

Below is a picture that I took after receiving the phone. As you can see in the above message, the seller did not disclose this problem in his thread. I asked if he would cover a measly R500.00 for the full repair now as the repair is coming to more than I had anticipated because of this spot. He just told me I should have checked his status and that I was "unlucky" for not having looked at his status. Can't view status's of someone you don't have added in your contacts @Shahedc

These Pics below were sent by the seller to myself (I am not sure if the seller used "busy" images or dark images to hide the dead spot on the lcd) :

I asked @SILTECH786 and @VeloABF16v for their opinion as well if they saw anything wrong with the 2 images above other than the crack. They both gave me the same answer of "no".

Shucks dude and I nearly did a deal with him.

In fact we had a deal agreed and then he went back on his word....thank God!

I must add, I also got pics from the seller and I didn't notice the "dot"

Always careful to deal with new guys here and guys with low or no itraders

It pisses me off that more and more of this kind of scum is making their way to carb.

I popped over to Bad Deals to warn others of another potential cocksprocket lurking about, but now after having seen the “rules” it‘s not really worth my while.

I messaged buyer has well but I backed out when he was still willing to negotiate below asking price ,knew something was wrong

This sentence really grinds my gears, like in seriously dude:

Just after reading this whole scenario, my first expression of you @Shahedc is dishonesty. Why did you not even bother to fully disclose the condition, you shot yourself in the foot by admitting that you did not even bother to do so.

Interesting backgrounds if I may add, picture 1 is hard to spot it since you used a dark background to 'try and hide it' and picture 2 I can see it. On the white default Samsung wallpaper it stands out like a sore eye.

There is quite a difference between a cracked screen and a cracked screen with a black dot. That seems like a more complicated thing to get repaired, and if I was the buyer, I would have been quite upset as well.

So, @Shahedc it is quite simple, please pay @tbin47 the R500 to cover the repair cost of the screen (which I personally think is totally reasonable) or you can choose the ban hammer. Nothing rocket science but the negative feedback score will remain on your profile.

You have 24-hours to respond.

Thank you

Slms

I won't discuss the details and reason why I backed out of our deal. That wouldn't be appropriate.

Just want to ask, did i come off as scum? or someone trying to rob another person. Please honestly describe what you think of me as a person..

Is there anything wrong with me selling stuff cheap? Look at my profile... I sold stuff cheap and please ask the buyers with regards to feedback

thank you

I admitted because I wouldn't intentionally hide something. I was always open about everything. 100s of messages between him and i. Please also ask anyone else i did deals with how was their experience.

thank you

Looks at Feedback Score

Yeah, you have one iTrader behind your name and you joined fairly recently.

Okay, so if you wouldn't intentionally hide something, why did you not bother to mention it on your sale's thread?

You do know that there are people who were on here with over 100 plus positive iTrader feedback scores who have been banned?

One review does not make a reputable seller.

Refund the guy or compensate him or never trade here again. And don't think you can create another account to bypass the ban, these admins are clever.
