Seller:
@Guiding_Ink
Buyer: @MrPopo
Description of Bad Deal:

So I purchased these 4 cards on the 1st of October and was promised on that Friday, that the cards will be sent out on Monday the 4th. Come Monday, no communication. After I enquire, @Guiding_Ink let's me know it will be shipped out the Tuesday as it's still getting packed. Tuesday, again no communication until I enquire. Then get told he'll give me an update on what's happening, and again, radio silence for the entire day. Wednesday, again no communication, so I enquire wtf is going on. He then tells me that his supplier will call me for "peace of mind". I then receive a call from a guy called Frikkie, who tells me about his broken bike and that he had a hell of a week (and a bunch of other excuses). He tells me it'll be sent on Thursday with overnight shipping, so I should receive it Friday. At this point, @Guiding_Ink stopped talking to me and gave this over to his so called "supplier".

So Thursday came and went with no communication, then I get told that the supplier's (Frikkie) supplier has sent the cards to his address and not mine, but it was shipped overnight. "Frikkie" sends me some ill taken screenshots of this waybill, screenshots that clearly hides the tracking number and just gives me recent information. So Friday, of course, nothing. I message him but no response. Saturday, no response, Sunday, no response. Monday, I send @Guiding_Ink a message that I do not want this anymore as I felt that his responses was unprofessional and quite concerning. I asked for a refund at this point. After multiple messages where he kept telling me, that he will personally sort this out and I would get my refund. Now today, Tuesday 12/10, his supplier calls me again telling me that he collected the cards and that it will be sent. I gave @Guiding_Ink until the end of the day to produce a waybill or a refund, and of course, neither of those promises has been filled, just like the countless other promises that were made during this entire deal.

That this kind of deal was made by a reputable member of Carbonite registered as a reseller with a company registered as well, with this level of incompetency, is beyond me. I've also tried to steer away from creating this thread, but in the end I feel like this was the right move.

As of yet, no waybill nor any refund has been produced.

Hmm, is this a Frikkie from the Free State?

As far as I know. I'm guessing he's also from Centurion side. I wouldn't really know as I was just given arbitrary information about these cards I'd receive. The red flags started popping up when he constantly told me about his bike that's in the shop, him not having been able to sleep due to not feeling well all of the sudden ( stated as a reason for not getting back to me ) and at the last communication that he'd organize cards with a guy called Andrew in Cape Town and then finding out that Frikkie would've sent me sapphires instead of the MSI cards.

There's a lot more I can add, but I'll restrain myself for now as this still has head room to be resolved today.

I would ask @Computer Biz as I helped him with shipping & his "Frikkie" caused a lot of issues.

Frikkie said the cards coming today, but he talk a lot with not much action. Good luck guys

Yeah, I'm not suppose to be even dealing with this "Frikkie" dude. This deal was with Guiding_Ink, whom I hold solely responsible.

Are you also currently dealing with this guy as I would love to hear your input?

@Guiding_Ink I suggest you reply meaningfully here, ASAP. @MrPopo is now getting threats from your supplier, "Frikkie". I would suggest you sort him out with a refund before the day is over, and inform your "supplier" to stop his shit or I will assist MrPopo in opening cases of fraud/theft and harassment accordingly.

Also, everyone who's dealt with this "Frikkie" and had issues, please post the details of that deal here. I want to check something.

To everyone else, this thread is now off limits.

A new bunch of cards has been bought to finish the deal as promised so if no waybill will produce a refund

I suggest your refund MrPopo today still. If he wishes to buy more cards from you, he can do that. He has already indicated he wants a refund, so forget about the waybill and refund him.

The fact that "Frikkie" is a part of all this (and wants to set up a meeting, threatening OP with legal action and requiring proof of payments) is a massive red flag regarding your supplier, so please refund him. Suppliers and customers should never mix, and if they do, there's a massive gap in the dealer's customer service.

Update:

5:52PM I've received communication about a refund. Still, no further details of this has been produced.

Lmao.

Everyone thinks they have a "Frikkie"... joke's on them.

Unfortunately I feel like there was clear opportunities to avoid this mess. The fact that Guiding_ink sold cards not in his possession is against Carbonite rules. I don't know why and how this was allowed, but unfortunately, I'm here to face the music.

I am currently handling this with a legal representative in order to come to an agreement.
I notified Guiding_ink about this and hope for the best.

This is the same Frikkie from Rustenburg?
As far as I know yes. There was a "waybill" that Frikkie sent me that had Rustenburg on it. Note, I said "waybill" with heavy quotation marks.

UPDATE:
I have messaged Guiding_Ink with a settlement proposal that I drew up with my legal representative. I'm giving him this time to read it over and accept or decline it at his own discretion. Hopefully this goes well and we end up cracking a virtual beer over this whole mess. One can only hope.

Update:
I've received a POP with regards to a refund from Guiding_ink. Once this clears, I'll consider this matter resolved.
If there are any members of carbonite that has extensive knowledge around the setting up of legal procedures in Centurion, please feel free to send me a whatsapp as help is required of which the details I cannot disclose here.

Unless that member is an attorney, you're better off with speaking to an actual attorney than asking for an unqualified opinion.
