Deal Thread URL: [Sale] - EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 1300W PSUs x 2 | Power Supplies
Seller: I purchased the PSU from @WideAwak3 who purchased it from @Dibzzz (Cryptominer) who the warranty is with
Buyer: @jughead12
Description of Bad Deal:
-I purchased a barely used EVGA 1300W Supernova PSU from @WideAwak3 deal went great PSU worked perfectly. after a while the PSU went dead and i asked him about warranty. He advised me to either sort it out myself directly or through cryptominer with the invoice he provided me. I opted of going through cyrptominer as i have never had to RMA anything before.
-Emailed cryprominer who was very helpful and he organised the PSU to be collected.
-PSU was collected on the 16th of May. after that i had no updates.
-Emailed cryptominer to ask if they received the PSU and whats the latest updates. he responded by saying they have received it and they have booked it in. We just have to wait for the supplier to replace the PSU.
-After that no updates whatsoever. I emailed about an update on July 3rd, they responded that the suppliers sometimes take a while to replace a unit as they do not stock a lot of these units. However they received word that the PSU has been replaced and they can collect it the following day as well as ship it out.
-No word again from them even after i tried to contact them on all available emails as well as the whatsapp business number.
-Found @Dibzzz on forum and sent him a PM to which i got an answer on the 11th july to say he will sort the issue out as he had some family matters which i completely understand.
-On the 16th of July he sent me a PM on forum to say the replacement unit is being shipped and he sent me the tracking details.
-Opened the box yesterday and saw it was an open box which i was curious about but i didn't think anything of as i've never had a RMA before.
-Wired the PSU up and switched on my system only to have the entire house electricity cut on the main board as well as some wires burn out. So none of the rigs are working as the entire wiring is blown that provides power to my home made box with fans.
-I compared the serial numbers of the PSU i sent in and the one i have only to realise everything is the exact same and its the exact same PSU.
-Called corex who confirm its the same unit that was sent in.
-Sent @Dibzzz a PM with no reply yet. But i would like to now post under this thread as I'm exhausted by this one PSU that has now caused me to lose functioning of my other rigs. And it has been a long time since i sent the faulty PSU in. I would just like to resolve this issue ASAP.
