Bad Deal @WideAwak3

Greetings

I have refrained from posting about this until i received some information today , please note i am not accusing anyone of a crime
but rather telling of my deal in the hope of getting a resolution .

on the 22nd of Jan I purchased a Note 10 plus from this thread

the seller asked me to pay and I did ,
in the thread it says he will ship the item via aramex store to door - there is no mention of risk on me , if there was I would have used my own courier .
He used his own discretion and as such in my mind his own risk .

Fast forward a week and aramex do not have any information about the package and the waybill does not show up as scanned into their system .


The seller at first denied any liability and then said if he must take the liability he will , but he cant repay the money and needs time , no specified timeframe .
He says he is not in a position to pay me back right now .

After considering his request I have asked more than once when he can start paying me back , to which there is no answer .

On Friday I got a call from aramex saying they are investigating and are very concerned with this .

There findings as of today are a follows
The shipment was never logged into there system
They have no record of any pickups matching the items listed .

Today they also uplifted cctv footage from the pick and pay ( and can i just say why ship from pick and pay , by dropping an expensive item in a box?)
There is no sign of the seller dropping off any items at the times he says and after extensive review , there is no evidence to support the claim that the item was ever put into an aramex shipping box .

The seller also sold a note 20 plus and used the same box as per him - that too has not gone to the buyer - i dont know who the buyer is ?

So these are the facts

I am only looking to get my money back as fast as possible .
Given the above and the accusation from aramex and pick and pay that the items were never shipped , I do believe this qualifies as a bad deal .

The seller has cited personal reasons as to the repayment to which i am sympathetic but covid has cost us all , I am in no position to lose 8k.

Wasnt my intention for this deal to go bad, nor has anything like this ever happened And I am doing everything I can to resolve it.
I did commit to taking the financial burden on myself when I am able to, so I can handle the investigation when and as I have time, to which I'm getting this bad deal thread. No fairness, no sympathy, just plain I don't believe you and give me back my money.

I do not have to state that once the parcel leaves my care that it is now someone else's responsibility. I thought this was just plain common sense, but hey we care more about money than relationships with people.

So I hear you @anile8-zn. I will also have no further communication with you because of this. Send me your banking details, and only that. And I will repay you when and if I can. I did tell you things are beyond tight, and will likely be for some time still.

Also when someone tries to resolve matters like this you feel to defame them publically over a small amount of money like that, and when you can clearly see who is to blame here? I have no respect for that, and my reputation has always been exemplary.

1. If the item was stolen like you claim , that is your issue , it is as if you dropped the thing in a lake before you managed to ship it . As it never made its way to a courier it seems .

2. Are we to totally exclude the findings of aramex and pick and pay ?

As of now it looks like you got a cash free loan to pay for your expenses , you have this at my expense .

Mods please have a look at the facts and let's get a resolution.

As having to wait an undefined time to get my money back doesn't sit right .

Further to this I have been advised to open a case of theft against you given the findings of aramex and pick and pay .

No one had defamed anyone these are the facts .

Forgot to add

Aramex has intimated that if it is proven that the parcel was dropped off they will have to take the liability .

They have asked that the seller make himself available to visit the store and go through the footage to point himself out as they cannot find him .

I believe this is a great way to prove his side and get a resolution.

I sincerely hope this happens so as to apportion blame correctly .

@WideAwak3 your response is extremely disappointing.

You are not giving your side of the story to the shipping of the parcel which suggests the details posted here by @anile8-zn are accurate.

You "shipped" the parcel that doesnt exist on any system and you saying you will pay when you can doesnt remotely sound like someone who is interested in sorting this out.

I suggest you take Aramex on to prove you posted the parcel, if not then i think @anile8-zn should open a case of theft and be done with this.

You are making your own assumptions. I am taking Aramax and the PNP on as much as I can. So far there has been very little that brings this into the light.

As soon as i can tend to this again, I will continue my own investigation and case against Aramex. as clearly they are at fault here. And thats the end of it.
 
My Understanding is that this system uses pre paid bags which you buy in advance and use when you need to .
so i dont think there is a cash slip at the time of drop off .
 
It seems like @WideAwak3 sold his Carbonite account for R20k, in an effort to make a last hurrah, or something like that. He is permanently banned. I would encourage the two users scammed by this asshole to go make cases against him at SAPS for fraud. He sold that same phone to two users, apparently, and never shipped it. That much is evident.

So herewith as much info on him that could help you guys:

You know, i had to think hard and my backspace got abused from deleing all the swear words i wrote trying to response to this pile of kak you wrote.

Member with far less itrader and even way more than you have the decency to deal with other members better, the mere fact that you have 150 itrader means absolutely nothing, you screwed up, own up to it and deal with it.

This is not ad old spice ad, i am not on a horse.

The fact that you are dealing with so much doesnt give you a right to go around scamming people and using your itrader status as a way to avoid responsibility.

NanoPro Automotive, Western Cape (+27840180876) (cant correlate to other data so might be cell was somebody else's in the Western Cape then?) The address for nanopro matches the address for QDS Digital per facebook (35A Da gama street 6503 Klein-Brakrivier, South Africa)

The address also lists another business,Jenliee,and she appears on his Linkedin as a recommendation. She lists QDS Digital as her current job with Jenliee.co.za in her tagline too on Linkedin
