Seller: @NeverSummer
Buyer: @F14sH
Description of bad deal:
I also recently purchased 2x 1070ti from @NeverSummer.
I thought I was buying 2 cards just over 1 year old with warranty and in excellent condition.
I received the cards on the 11th of June and on the 12th of June I asked him about the warranty as i found the stickers were scratched off the backplate of the cards as well as off the boxes. He then said that the serials have been registered and the warranty is fine. I had to go as far as contacting evetech to find out and they said that if there is no serial or it has been tampered with warranty is void as the card cannot be identified. And then i found that 2 of the capacitors on the card was missing. Like broken off and this was also not mentioned in the add. I told him about all of this and asked for a refund to which he replied "Cards were purchase from Bruonline , supplier was Omega Africa. Warranty is 2 years from January 2018. I mistakenly thought it was the ones from evetech. those cards are out of warranty now. and they are working perfect, even after another 5 years or longer, these cards will still work perfect. cards are purchased locally, warranty expired, condition is perfect. theres no capacitors missing if you do your homework. there will be no need for warranty since its not gonna go fail, best cards ever owned."
I mean really...
Again i asked for a refund and he either just talks past it or ignores me flat.
In short: @NeverSummer sold me a damaged card with no warranty instead of an excellent condition card with warranty as advertised.
I understand we are all human and mistakes can be made but if mistakes are made they should be corrected and I gave him the opportunity to do so but he is not interested.
