Description of Bad Deal:
The Buyer messaged me on 17/02/2021 stating he might be interested in the Harddrive bundle i had for sale, he asked for health tests and I gave him my contact details and asked him to whatsapp me then i can share the Hdd health reports with him. He then disappeared and only contacted me again on 22/02/2021. I had a busy week and could'nt supply the health reports the same day. I did communicate to the buyer and he was happy and also said he can only buy the bundle once his salary was paid.

On 23/02/2021 he said he is getting paid the next day. I offered to deliver the drive to him as his work was closer and I did not really want to ship the drives. Its safer to just meetup as we are both in and around pretoria. The buyer then offered to pay me extra for the delivery
I did only supply the health reports on the 24/02/2021 but i did communicate to the buyer that work is keeping me busy and he did not have a problem.

The buyer asked for banking details on 24/02/2021 which I then supplied. Whe confirmed the price and deal on the 25/02/2021 and the buyer sent me a message that he paid me and the money should reflect the next day as it was from Standardbank. I offered to deliver the Items the next day when the money cleared.
On 26/02/2020 The buyer messaged me and asked me to let him know once the funds cleared then we can arranged delivery

In short the funds never cleared and the buyer never replied to any of my messages again. Apparently he had a family matter and he could not reply to my messages the whole weekend but he had time to do Posts on Carbonite.

I spoke to a Moderator and he said it is good grounds for a Negitive feedback. Now @guyofdestiny has the arrogance of giving mea negative feeback stating i am rude, I took 3 weeks to give him health reports and he had a family matter thats why he did not respond.

I have the whole conversation as proof that this guy was screwing me around.

Why did he let me know Payment was done if he never did the payment?
Why did he ask if the funds cleared if he never did the payment?
And lastly he had time to do posts on carb and to change his profile pic why couldnt he just communicate and let me know he is not taking the bundle?
In the meanwhile i had other buyers also interested and said sorry items is sold.

With that said. @carbonite. I apologize. I did say that I made payment. Crap ton of life happened this weekend. I was quiet for the weekend. I was fully planning on still taking the drives as soon as things cleared up. I did not think much of it at the time of immediately responding figuring that he will understand that I am not replying now as things came up.

But with his "attacks on whatsapp I decided not to communicate with him as no matter what he was mad and looking for reason to fight with me.

again I did apologize multiple times and will do so again. All my deals are quick painless and easy. Ask all my dealings. This was a mistake on my side and a honest life occurrence where I dont want to share details publicly or even with seller.
Did I not communicate for 3 days. Yes. Does this make me bad guy or a bad deal.. no. He multiple times did not respond immediately and later just said sorry he was busy. Why now I am wrong for doing it as well? Plus he give me a bad rating. I do the same and Suddenly to quote him "I am that guy"

Moderators. Please let me know if what I did was really that bad? maybe I am wrong? maybe I am just one sighted at this stage as I feel I was done wrong

Oh FYI. also. items was not received so it was not a case of attempted scamming. He is still in possession of his items. And I never pushed or asked until he is happy.

And yes. I did post on carbonite as I attempted to sell some items to lessen the load of weekend occurring until my stuff got sorted. which it now has
