Reason for selling is upgrade to the new R7HE MK2 DAC. The R7HE line is my end game source (ahead of the Holo May Spring KTE). It's a superb DAC which (easily) runs with the wild dogs and holds its own. Deep bass with a weight and warmth I've not heard before, mids and highs presentation follows suit (warm, lush, revealing etc.). Stage and imaging are as close to perfection as I have experienced (expansive with pinpoint precision). This is the best DAC I have heard on my audio journey to date, so whatever joys the MK2 may bring, right now I can't quite conceive.
I should add that it's easier to find an ounce of honesty in Zuma than a second hand R7HE and DI-20. I have the original packaging for all these items.
1. Audio GD R7HE DAC: It's an early 2019 model and has since had the 2021 clocks/I2S upgrade (sounds fantastic). This is the R7 with regenerative power supply. I have a spare DAC so I can let it go immediately upon payment. Price is R40k.
2. Audio GD DI-20: This is a brilliant device which I don't think needs much introduction. It's the full upgraded DI-20 (non-HE model) - Accusilicon 90/98M Edition. Price is R7k.
I reserve the right to retract this sale at any time prior to a confirmed deal being concluded.
I won't let the DI-20 go without a sale on the R7HE. Reason being is that should the sale be retracted, I'll keep the DI-20 for it's exceptional pairing with the R7HE.
