So I am trying to sort out my audio setup and need some advice. Here is what I am currently using and what other parts I also have.
Using
Asus Xonar AE 7.1 PCIe: Xonar AE|Sound Cards|ASUS South Africa
MUL391 Genius Sw-N5.1 1000 Speakers: MUL391 Genius Sw-N5.1 1000 Speakers, 25 Watts RMS , 2.5X5 Watts Satellite, 12.5 Watts Subwoofer, Base, 5.1CH Input, Volume Control
Extra
Sony DAV-TZ210 home cinema system 5.1: Specification sheet (buy online): SONY DAV-TZ210 SONY TZ210 DAV System - 5.1 Channel Speaker System
Wharfedale Atlantic 100 Speakers x2
Yamaha YST-SW205 subwoofer
Now I can make cables and use the Sony TZ210 speakers but I want a basic 2.1 and having half a system laying around is just a waste to me.
I can't use the Yamaha/Wharfedale setup as I do not have everything I need to make it run. The speakers are also too big for my desk.
I am now considering to possible sell everything but the soundscard and just get the Logitech Z533 Desktop Speaker setup. It's small, simple and can do everything I want. I use my PC for gaming, music and movies.... and I do like decent sound, but I don't really have the money to go nuts and buy the best stuff there is.
Anyone here have a Logitech Z533 and what's your opinion of it?
I did consider a 2.1 Soundbar/sub setup, but the soundbars are just too big and would be in my way on the desk.
