Audio advice needed

Hey guys,

So I bought a pair of Sennheiser x Massdrop HD 58x's a while ago. I'm looking to upgrade my sound system and need some advice. I've done some research on AMP's and DAC's but just confused me even more. Would the best first step to upgrading be getting a good AMP, a good DAC or an AMP/DAC like a FiiO E10k? Also how well will these scale in future?

Also hoping there's someone in Centurion or close to Centurion who's willing to help me (and hopefully not kidnap me xD) after lockdown by bringing my headphones and listening on their hardware.

Great choice of headies there! Many prefer integrated DAC amps (AudioGD, Topping, .
..) but I like to keep things seperate. If you go that route I would suggest sort out your amp first, then upgrade your DAC if you feel like it. If we are still alive and have the economic means you can swing by post LD to have a listen and chat ...
