Would you consider some labola OP as I know we're allowed price discussions openly am I right fam ;)

"What's that sound of a hammer I hear?"

Do you guys not know what a great price this is for this headset? 4 essence drivers in each ear with hi res certification and built in dacs as long as you position your ears inside the earcups correctly the positional awareness is phenomenal.

They are big but super comfy with the worst points of this headset been that the cables are thick(girls love that though am I right) which makes them very durable meaning they shouldn't just break and you have to fine tune them for whatever you listen to but the EQ is very capable.

If you are into FPS games or want to feel immersed in a world "These are definitely the droids you were looking for!", these are definitely a must have for gamers that prefer quality crisp sound over just thumping muddy bass. In MW Warzone amongst many other FPS titles you will feel as if you have gotten super powers with the true 7.1 setup correctly

Slide into my DM's and lets see what you can offer me...

Reading reviews on this thing - it looks like I can sell my Audio-Technica's and skip having to buy an amp/DAC (sound on the headphones I have was lacklustre with high end onboard sound)

@superrob would this be a fair assessment? Not needing an Amp/DAC with these ROG headsets?

Let's put this in short without derailing our OVERLORDS thread.

Pros:
One of the best sound stages for positional you'll get from a gaming headset, True 7.1 beats virtual nearly everytime.
Super Clear sounding drivers.
Hi-Res certified
Interchangeable earcups pads
This pricing is less then half of what you'll pick them up for new
Comfy but this is balanced out with the con that weaklings find them heavy
Immersive for movies that support real surround sound

Cons:
Cables are annoying but mostly for those used to wireless
These are not audiophile level so please do not even start there but they reproduce positional better then a audiophile stereo headset can with the correct settings
Weaklings find them a tad heavy which balances out with the comfort of them (When I say heavy it's like wearing a keychron K6 keyboard on your head but the cushioning makes you mostly forget they're there)
Could be a tad bit louder if you're used to headsets that blast you away but their loudness level is like that of the Arctis Pros for me

So would I buy these again, yes I would but solely for the use as a competitive gamer and light to casual music/movie use especially at the pricing what these offer cannot be matched or beaten.

And FYI if you watch reviews saying these sound horrible it's because many reviewers online are not paid by Asus to review these and do not know how to operate an EQ or the purpose of True Surround plus where to use it's advantages.

I think I've talked myself into buying these again dagnabbit. If only there was a cheap vr headset out there instead of these lol

Update: Paid for beaches
