ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 Super review

Outside of the ASUS tax, this is an awesome GPU. Runs incredibly quiet which wasn't the case with ROG GPUs a few years ago, but that's all changed. In the RTX range, 2080 was my favorite in the high end, the Super is even more so.

Thanks for the video bud. It's good to know that ASUS finally got to lower their fan noise as I can tell that was the the biggest if not the ONLY downside on their GPU's.....the insane fan noise, because of the fan speed. Normally, and please do correct me if I am wrong, gpu's will have a max fan speed of 2400-2800 where as ASUS are known for their 3800-4000rpm fans. Yes it gives an awesome cooling effect but dam that is a high noise level. When I was still rocking ASUS gpu's I was just waiting for my case to start to levitate above the floor.

This is true, the GPU is amazingly quiet now. The new fans help tremendously and it is among the most quiet high end cards I've ever used. Really awesome cooling without sacrificing your ears.
