Hi all

So I have one.

Link for those whom are unsure.

Long story short, I got one, card is massive, did not fit in my case, got a bigger case, decided I like my case more, so kept my case and the card has then every since been in my brothers computers.

So at some point, I might sell it.

What would the selling value be?

Have the box, card is in mint condition, etc. Like 3/4 months old I guess.

With the current market, I have no idea, seems to be all over.

Thank you

Regards
Louis

EDIT - Was busy editing poll, then someone voted, now it is broken :p

Beg to differ, the fact that it's the Noctua one drives that price up, now I'm not buying a 3070 and haven't been looking at their prices but quick search turns up plenty at around the 15-16 mark. So this has to be worth more, especially to people who want the special edition stuff.

It somewhat depends, there isn't anything really special about it apart from slapping the case fans on. I believe it is an Asus Dual model PCB & pretty much literally just put a Noctua shroud & fans on it, didn't do anything to the PCB or cooler design AFAIK (based on DerBauer's teardown of it)

Either way it's still nice, I madmax'd my 2080ti to do this xD If I had a custom fanshroud printed & slapped on I would pretty much achieve the same thing.

I say this is as a massive fanboy of the card as well, a disappointed fanboy that they didn't do the above & go all out xD

Yip they definitely should have slapped it on the Strix PCB of the 3080 at least, if not higher on the stack...

Yeah, your power limit is about 103%, so not much headroom for overclocking, that being said, I think the point was to have a cool and quiet card. And look, that it is. Also the build is very solid, I can't remember seeing any GPU support for it and from what I can tell, the GPU did not sag at all, for a card that requires 4.5 slots.

And it looks brilliant.

agreed, 3080 would have made more sense.

That being said, I recently got rid of my 3080 and stuck with a 3070, more than happy with it, as it is best bang for buck for my purposes.

I have a Palit Jetstream OC 3070, and even that thing is massive. She a proper thicc boy, do not be fooled by it being "only a 2 fan card".

As is for all power hungry cards, I don't see why duk gpu's don't have duk coolers, it irritates me. Much like the stupidity of limiting bus-width & segregating 1 card into 3-4 billion different versions of the same model all with 50mhz clock differences xD (small rant lol)

@LouisABC Indeed, looks brilliant, is stupidly good thermally & is an absolute tank. This would be a good vertical mount meme lol.

So, I found a way to get his into an ITX case.

Gonna keep it. 🙃
