So to help your sale. The RGB lighting driver I'm pretty sure works. But its a common issue that all Asus ROG cards will experience over time (be it the 10xx or 20xx series cards)

The actual fibre element running down the length of the card becomes milky/opaque due to the heat from card. This happens over time making it less transmissive to light. The RGB light driver is unfortunately only on one end of the card ... So you'd get this disappearing light as you move further away from the one end of the card.

The fix is to just replace that fibre element ... No warranty voided ... Find the correct diameter fibre element from China mall ( I'm told) and it's a cheap and quick fix

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Yes it is partially lighting up. I did see there was someone on here that does offer a repair service for minimal cost.
