Hi all

I had a great oc running that another carb user assisted me with but ruined it after a bios update. Since I suck at it I was looking for a knowledgeable person to assist me again (the carbie that assisted me previously has immigrated).

Any help will be great

Roll back the Bios, or was there something that the update fixed for you?

Yip, had instability issues which it sorted but when I wanted to re apply my oc I saved the current profile over my oc profile [emoji2357]

4.8GHz all-core with an under-volt or single-core peeks at 4.8?

Single core

My friend, was it a manual oc or just PBO. If you state 4800mhz single core I asume it is PBO, if so check my thread posted in the oc section of the forum explaining how to get the most out of pbo.

No it was a manual oc with voltage changes, level changes the lot. Manually setup everything

4.8 all core . That was a great oc if it really was.
OP stated single core already.

Also how we're you doing single core OC? Not a expert by any means, hardly a beginner but as far as I'm aware you can use ryzen master for it but also significantly more work than it will ever be worth.

The oc that Matt @T3CH 1D10T helped me with ran great, cpu hardly reached 70c, outscored similar systems by over 2000 points if memory serves in cinebench and ran over 4.8ghz consistantly when gaming. I just cant get hold of Matt to try and figure out what the settings were.
