Yes I already know what everyone is going to say but I physically cannot use a mouse and keyboard for more than an hour without experiencing serious discomfort. Its more the mouse for me which cause joint pain. This is why I dont play fps games.
I really enjoy diablo 3 on the switch and I would like something similar on pc that can support a controller (without any pesky work arounds). The few games that I found thus far:
Warhammer chaosbane (I dont enjoy this game, its decent enough but simply lower gameplay quality overall than a diablo)
Grim dawn (played 30 mins, seems a bit slower paced than diablo, might put in a bit more time on this)
Minecraft dungeons (fun to play with the little 1, I need something a bit more grown up and better looking)
Warhammer Martyr (never played this, looks interesting but I really need feedback from someone that owns this game)

Any game recommendations?

OMURGURD!!!

I thought you were playing Forza 5?

I enjoy grim dawn, if you really get into the nitty gritty of the skill trees it gets a bit complicated but yes, it is a bit slow paced.
That martyr game - avoid, it's got all the covids. It's a crap game quick cash grab.

Not sure if POE has controller support but that can get really hectic really quickly and it's free.
Other ones, Titan quest? Again, not sure if it has controller support and it's old and slower paced but I had fun with it.
There was also van helsing I think which wasnt too bad.

I played the open test beta of Lost ARK. When that game comes out, I will be playing it Soo hard, it won't know what played it.
Also MHrise is coming out in Jan, Not sure if you gonna jam it but I definitely will.

You've seen how much I play mhw, so I'll definitely be on rise as well.
I'll look into some the titles you suggested. I know POE has an overwhelming skill tree, I dont know if I'm too keen on that. Van helsing looked good from the few vids I've seen

Pretty much all games have controller support on PC.

Action-RPGs that I have played and can recommend are The Witcher 3 (obviously lol), Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (not so much RPG but a cool game nonetheless), Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Elder Scrolls series of course. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor/War. The Tomb Raider games. And Assassin's Creed is great on controller, if you're into that sort of thing, I lost interest though after 3.

But you can also play first person shooter type games with a controller - aiming is just not as intuitive as with the mouse. GTA V singleplayer is excellent, multiplayer is a bit of a shitshow but can be fun. Enjoying The Outer Worlds a lot. The Fallout games are also good (mainly 3, New Vegas, and 4). Mass Effect will be fine on controller too (don't bother with Andromeda).

Racing games obviously are awesome on controller.

And top-down games can also work. Look at Disco Elysium. Very cool game with a big emphasis on storytelling and character development rather than action.

Looking for a diablo type top down arpg, I've played and enjoyed basically all the titles you mentioned

Also Diablo 3, though the always online aspect of the pc version is annoying at best.

Path of exile doesn't have controller support but you can get it working with some programs (forgot the name, joytokey maybe?)

Don't be scared by its massive skill tree, just follow a decent guide and you'll be okay build wise. Game is a big undertaking though, many mechanics

Unfortunately I don't know a lot of arpg's so I cannot recommend any. Have you considered rethinking your ergonomics? arm placement, seat height etc?

I know the software you talking about, forgot the name though. It has a diablo 3 config in it as well. Its not good though. In diablo I play ranged and the software just doesnt do it right. Really want to try POE though, I'm happy to sink 100s of hours into it

Hit me up if you ever do play POE. I am pretty much done for this league but always keen to help out a new player even if its just understanding things - got free items also but i am sure you want to grind that for yourself.

Definitely dont have the most ideal seating for kb and mouse, but theres not a lot that I can change. Even at work with an ergo chair and wrist support I dont use a mouse, trackpad all day long and I'm fine

Grim Dawn just released on Xbox if you play console, too lazy to read the thread.
POE is cool, & I don't know what has native controller support xD

That makes sense. You also get trackball mouses as well as vertical mouses which might also help you enjoy more time gaming.

@D3TTOL Did you see we can't play Lost Ark in South Africa? I think our only option is using a VPN? Let me know if you know of any other ways around it, game looks amazing.

Yea, I saw. It's a bit irritating. The only option I can see is a VPN.
I'm not too bummed about it though. Though more I read about the EU release the more pay to win vibes I get from it all.

It's got massive pay to progress mechanics where if you don't buy these monthly, weekly and daily boosts the grind is going to be near impossible. I could be wrong but it seems they are throwing way too many of these microtransactions in it.

Which VPN do you guys recommend? Imma get this game. Looks legit fun - even if it's just for a few weeks

Hey bud, I got Nord VPN, its working perfect. Had to create a second steam account though to download it, I couldn't get it right with my existing steam account, probably just being a retard. If you get it let me know, im playing on the EU servers atm ping around 200 - to 300 but pretty playable.

So Lost ark
I managed to connect via London servers and via the steam browser set to preload.

Game busy downloading.

But reading all these things about against steam tos etc using proxies to get region locked games making me warey of proceeding.

Will prob make a second account of this is the case as don't want my main account banned. If this is indeed against the rules.

However if a game is free. And not available here and to get the game u change your location to get it. The game is still free so what is the fuss.

I get it if people use it to manipulate getting games cheaper in countries but if it's free surely it should t be bannable.

But yes this game looks great. And really want to give it a go

So this weekend I tried getting Lost Ark, no luck at all using windscribe vpn in the us and uk, so I just gave up. Would have liked to give this a go.
But anyways back on topic, if there are other people like me who are looking for diablo style games with controller support:

Van helsing, had lots of fun with this and controller worked relatively good. A few small inconsistencies with aiming but nothing game breaking. Never struggled when things got busy on screen and it was easy to aim relatively accurately.

Grim dawn, again I'm playing ranged here and so far so good. Has the same small inconsistencies as vh but in some scenarios the enemy count can be higher so locking onto the right target takes some getting used to, but once you become accustomed to it all is good. Fun game but a bit slower paced

I have Played lost ARK. It's super addictive for a couple hours but gets stale after that. Same ol ez pz grind. Go there, Smack a few things that are not challenging at all for a little bit of Exp so you can get to level 50 or what ever it is. Then the real grind really begins and the pay to progress is needed otherwise you will progress at 1/50th of the speed at what people who are dropping tons of cash into it are progressing.

If you want to give it a go, Send me a steam message. I can sort you out :)

Elden ring got me sorted, I care not for diablo clones anymore. Think I checked you playing yesterday? I'm still going solo offline with an ultrawide and fps mod

Yea I was playing yesterday.

I looked at a FPS unlocker but it's suggested to not play online with it because you can get banned for it?
