Good morning Stefan, unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic is a factor which is out of area of control. The Johannesburg hub has been severely disrupted due to this outbreak and we are conscious of the strain this is putting on you as our direct client, and indirectly affecting your own clients. Please bare with us in these testing times, we will ensure that your parcel is delivered.

So no date given. What the fuck.

You need to get hold of the sending branch and ask them to insist on a floor search at the Aramex depot.

Chances are they have lost your parcel on the floor. This happened to me last week with an extremely high value parcel and it took 3 days of constant back and forth with the sending and receiving branch to finally get them to conduct a floor search where they found my parcel. Same symptoms of no movement on the tracking. Took exactly a week to arrive.

If it came from an outlying region, chances are it went through a sub-contracted courier (Mine happened to be RTT) and when they handed over the parcel to the JHB Aramex Depot the confusion/misplacement came in.

I've found you need to be extremely persistent with them.

My parcel was sent on the 15th, it arrived today, 15 days later.

Just glad it wasn't lost. Their customer support via phone or email is horrid.
Finally bitched on Twitter last Friday and someone there arranged for delivery today.

Have a parcel stuck since Tuesday last week also. These guys are messing around. Each person gives different information on the same parcel. Bunch of pricks

Used postnet 2 weeks ago and they somehow on the tracking said that the customer was not available. But it was meant to be postnet to postnet. Had to phone 3 times before someone could inform me my parcel was in transit and that its a common system fault. Was told to ignore the tracking info. What’s the point of using tracking if the system has an error?

Aramax and Dawn wing are the bane of my shipping existence.
Aramax lost parcels, promises to deliver failed, calling and saying they are at my gate but they are at the wrong address and oh sorry we aren't delivering now bye. The cherry on top delivering to the wrong address and faking my name on the receipt. Took me weeks to sort out

Dawn wing much of the same except the last one. But they added an extra nightmare. The second guy in the truck had my parcel on his bloody lap and they had just bought a 2L coke. They promptly spilled it all over the bag and the coke managed to get inside. Like a full 300ml got inside the bag and ruined the hardware inside.
To top that off THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING when they were delivering. Not a word about all the bloody coke they spilled in the bag.

Both those companies are dead to me.

They shut the entire Linbro warehouse down for Thurs and Friday and then took till yesterday to get all the available staff in.

If you have ever seen the amount of stuff that moves through there you'll realise the chaos it caused.

It will move when it moves, unfortunately the service reps will have absolutely no way of knowing when this will be.

I know the pain, have a LOT more than 20k stuck currently.
