I was wondering why I was getting trashed close range with it.
Blue shield and 75% to knocked with one shot.
This makes sense now.

They made it easier to use by making the pellets bigger, so in this image they might've only hit you with the two side pellets, they now hit you with the 4 or the 4 side and the middle 3:

kind of sucks that i have to hit someone 6 times with a PK to get them down

no don't need it at all. hoping that somehow i can improve ping, since it seems we will never get local servers.
this sucks as this is really a game i can get behind, if only the ping didnt suck so much.

Yeah Ive never had a vpn that could increase rhe ping.
Just wait, the new transatlantic route will be operational soon and could possibly expect a 80ms ping to the states.

i'm getting 180ms ping via telkom only on a 40mbps VDSL line.

game is playable, but it is annoying when you empty your entire inventory of ammo on one person and hit nothing but thin air.

also i get 1 shot killed with pistols a lot

thats already quite a bit better than 180ms

A VPN can only increase Latency.
It's routing your traffic to whichever location first, before it's gets to the game server.

Also, we have a Apex SA Discord server which could potentially allow us to have our own SA only scrims by having all selecting the same region and clicking ready at the same time, but like always that server is now a ghost town these days. I'd much rather play against enemies who have the same shitty ping as myself vs 10ms streamers.

Joined the Discord server but like you said its a ghost town... would be nice to all play together on bad ping.

My only ping complaint really is shotgun v shotgun fight my shot doesn't count because his damage got to the server at 10ms and mine at 180ms you just die, you even see the number pop up.

They might revert the PK buff tonight but if not I do think we're getting an update.

Edit: Looks like I was wrong, it makes zero sense then taking duos out if they aren't doing the next town takeover or something, it doesn't hurt anything keeping it in.
