They can kiss my fuzzy thicc ass if they think I'm paying R270 for one single skin in a FPS game, meaning I can't even see the skin 99% of the time.

Lol, I had the heaviest carry of my life last night in a game. I was downed twice by better players.. revived once... got to the final ring without making any frags then the other team mate and myself got downed and the team mate that had carried us for so long took out two squads all by himself for a Ring Win but what a nice guy really rare to find somebody so humble.

I should just change my name to Shield Braker....cause most of the time that's all I do and hear.
And then one of my teammates just gets easy kills.
End games stats shows me with very low kills but very very high damage. And team low damage but high kills.
So unfair, im doing all the work.

@Doom5003 I have that same issue many games, very very high damage and tons of knocks downs but the frags aren't always in my favour. I mean I had a couple final ring sniper fights where you do everything right and then your mediocre team mate rubs it in that he has HIGH FRAGS but his damage is like 200 or something silly

Snipers....now there's a weapon class I never use unless it is all I find early game.
I just don't see the use in them. You knock a guy long distance only for him to be helped back up and shield back to normal within a few seconds.
In solo games I can see their use since there's no help for a recover.

@Doom5003 best sniper rifle is the LongBow but go for headshots if you can, also had a few interesting aggressive sniper moments where I landed and found nothing else and took out two squads for my team with a G7 close range but man the ammo is so scarce

I agree that calling your customers shit like that is not on. But why dafaq is everyone mad about the price of the stuff? It's just skins it does not make anyone better than anyone else, so just don't buy them? I don't get this mentality. I don't go to Rochester and tell them they fuck nuts cause the nice couch they have is too expensive for me. No one pisses on Valve's ass because the Dragon Lore is 20k+ worth or your favourite knife is 5k.

I dont think its so much the fact of the pricing for the individual skins and more so the lottery aspect to it. People dont like to gamble with their money especially when its a 50/50 chance of getting a legendary or epic and then a 1 in 24 chance of you getting the actual skin you want. with odds like that its no wander people are pissed off.

With cs you know what your odds are in getting a high tier skin plus you have the option of selling it off and making some money back on what you spent on keys. And we all gaben is a money mongering whore so its no news to use when we throw our money at him lol. But in apex at the moment its literally a $200 'limited time event' on the principle of showing you have more money than you know what to do with if you want the heirloom. Personally id love the R99 skin but im not gambling R110 a shot for with odds that are almost certainly stacked against you as theyll want to give you the worst outcome to keep buying to get what you want. 🤷‍♂️

If they had set the skins as being able to be bought individually at a slightly higher than normal price for its 'exclusivity' then the backlash would be much much less than it currently is.

Because EA/Respawn are morons and they're going about it the wrong way.

Open a cosmetic store, price items realistically.
Fuck lootboxes and any form of gambling mechanic.
It should never be a game of chance, you should be able to buy what you want.
Don't lock items to your account, players should be able to trade/sell their skins.

Valve doesn't take nearly as much flak because the community shapes the market pricing.
Yes they sell loot boxes/keys, so fuck them for that.
