Anyone manage to get the Twitch Prime loot to work? Keep getting this error message: "There was an error validating your payment method. Please update or add a new payment method and try again."

Strange, I used the same card for 5 accounts to get the thing for friends.

Try add

+twitch_prime_linked 1

in the launch parameters.

New gun is OP, energy ammo AR, takes either a turbo charger which eliminates the wind up or it takes a precision choke which turns it into a hitscan sniper rifle that charges up and hits hard. Dunno why they made it hitscan tho

I get most of my wins by chilling out and watching the last 2 squads duke it out, I then swoop in when they start looting. Bangalore + Gibraltar ults and Bangalore smoke + bloodhound ult are the best combo.

I strike out when it comes to squad members though, very rare to find someone actually play as a squad. All my friends are still playing other stuff.

Attacking squads that are focused on each other is the best. People never watch their backs when they are engaging in one front.

Tried that, for some shit reason they all turn their attention to us. On the field it could be
[them them us] and the far side squad completely ignores the squad between them and us.

Guess it all depends on the game and who you're up against, maybe I play against potatoes the whole time

I'm having issues claiming my twitch prime loot through the correct channels... buuuutt setting +twitch_prime_linked1 in your launch options will give you the loot, whether you have twitch prime or not

Servers have been feeling kuk recently, suspect it's just a case of too many users to handle. Hopefully they sort it out sooner than later.

so its the second time i had an encounter whereby i sneak behind someone, aim directly at his head and shoot him couple of times with rifle, and the guy just turn around and shoot me basically with one shot dead.

ok. so i had it, forced myself to join the hype train.

Guess ill be uninstalling the game

Apex is a momentum based game... Creeping won't do you any good.

Shooting a decent player in the back of the head with blue/purple armour with something puny will render you dead.

This is the first game in a long time (bar quake) with unrestricted movement mechanics and the ability to shoot accurately while moving. Many FPS players moved on from this style of shooting as nothing in recent years really catered for it. Now that it is back, we're back as well. I can't tell how many times I'm sliding along and someone starts shooting at me and I have enough time to flick, grapple en land a few headshots before they get a chance to adjust and shoot again. I can imagine from their perspective that it SUCKS. People are bullet sponges, landing 5 or 6 shots simply is not enough.

I love Apex for that. Finally a smooth skill based br. Have fun gents.

I can't with randoms anymore, I just had a final three, the two others are fighting so easy win for us, nope, first teammate runs in and gets downed immediately, second runs in grabs his banner runs a mile away out of where the zone is with 10 seconds before it closes, so now we have a team chasing us, the muppet that can't think and another guy with no weapons and I can't drop him my secondary either because they're already shooting at us.
