I did read about the Bahrain servers being close to dead and having long queue times but with the influx of ZA players, I am optimistic.

I'm trying Bahrain again when season 7 comes out hopefully people play.

The second my Steam download is done I am uninstalling Origin.

Season 7 is such a big update, the amount of changes like buffs and new mechanics and gun things, it would just be a wall of text if I had to post all the stuff already confirmed.

I'm so sad about the release time, it's 20:00 PST Wednesday so it's 06:00 Thursday for us.

I don't know what is up with them releasing a major season update at night for them, the previous updates were mostly around 9-10 when they started work, now someone of them will have to work after hours to monitor and check that nothing blows up.

Any idea yet on how your friends list would work if you on Steam and your friends still on Origin? would you only be able to invite them if they also on Steam or will it integrate your friends list onto Steam even if they still using Origin🤔

Well firstly if your friend decided to stay on Origin you smack them, that should simplify things.

When you're in game now on your friends list it has the option to link to Steam, so that will be how they invite you and I assume when you launch it on Steam it will ask you to sign in with your Origin username and password and it will maybe then have your Origin friends too.

Edit: Season 7 also now has the new Club system which I think they want to be the main social hub from now on.

They screwed the new Battle Pass system up hard, it takes forever to level up, I have 14 wins and I'm on level 5.

One example of what they did was, last season one of the challenges was respawn teammates 5 times and that was 1 BP level, this season that challenge is respawn teammates 15 times and it gives you 20% of a level. So you have to do 3 times as much for 80% less reward.

If anyone manually switches data centre or needs to turn on their VPN for Bahrain those servers are super active again, even up to 30 minutes ago after midnight we were getting games fast.

Yes Bahrain servers are quite busy lately. Less than 60 second queue time. For anyone still getting 200 plus ping in the Bahrain servers, type 1.1.1.1 in your browser, run and install cloudflare, make sure it's activated in your Taskbar and you're good to go

People are scared of VPNs or something, they think it's still future tech that you can only use if you have a degree or something.

I was watching a stream yesterday and the person's friend couldn't play Bahrain with him so I sent him a message to install Warp, I could hear them on stream saying something along the lines of there is no way this works, you just install it and click enable and that's it? He opened up Apex and his London and Bahrain ping was lower.

its actually crazy how much difference 50 less ping makes. first game on bahrain did 2.5k damage with octane. felt so much better, no ghost bullets with the wingman and can actually knock people with one clip now

i would get no reg with the wingman on peope standing dead still on london servers

It's because it wouldn't always be London, you set your preferred server not your only server, so to make queues as fast as they are you would randomly get put on Frankfurt or something and your ping is 220ms.

With Bahrain now you only get Bahrain so you know it will be 140ms every game.
