I have this UPS for sale, it's generally in good condition, the only downside is that it doesn't actually function as a UPS, it's more of a battery backup.
It's input voltage reading sensor seems a bit borked, so it always thinks that the input voltage from the mains is too high, so switches to battery backup power.
That means that as soon as you switch it on, it starts running from battery.
When it's switched off, it charges the battery as normal.
So the general idea is you have it plugged into the main and have it switched off to charge,
when load shedding hits you switch it on and can then run some things off it,
then switch it off and it'll charge again.
It includes a second battery pack (APC Replacement Battery Cartridge #33 - APC Finland) which you can plug into the back of the UPS and provides additional runtime.
That means that in total, there's 4x 7ah batteries (new, bought a month ago).
The cost of the batteries is roughly R800 on their own.
