Went to Checkers, Menlyn earlier and picked up one of those dual monitor arms. Already set up and I must say, they feel pretty decent IMO.
Two qwerks though:
The first would be the small plastic piece that links the VESA plate on the monitor side, to the arm. It looks cheap and could possibly break easily. Everything else feels like a decent sturdy metal, apart from this.
The second is that It is struggling to hold my Dell 27" on the tilt. In the manual they indicate that you just need to tighten a screw for a heavier monitor, but I'm not sure I can go any further without stripping the thing.
On the bright side, I really like the cable trays which it has.
Also, Checkers, Menlyn has about 10ish 24" monitors and about 3x 27" this morning. One thing i noticed is that they had one of each on display, and the 24" colors look a lot better, than the 27" which was very washed out and bland. Took it upon myself to make sure the settings were the same, which they were. I'm assuming here its either different panels, or perhaps one big panel lottery.
