Anybody tried the checkers gaming monitor ?

I'm not a professional reviewer so excuse the potato pic of the screen OSD.

Xceed byte model 10681410
DP, and HDMI with an audio out.

The base is pretty trash lol. I can see why they suggest the desk mounts. It's pretty much the monitor Linus tests(more or less haha)

I'm not going to use HDR, so tested best possible performance out of this panel.

Ran some tests the internet suggested.
If anyone has any requests for tests, hit me up.
Check the pics posted if you are interested

I come from a really old panel so this looks good to me but i understand that it might look cheap to a lot of people. It will work for me for now xD

Note, the screen comes with an HDMI cable for some reason, but I had a spare DP cable I could use

That's actually really not bad at all then especially if you were already using some old ass monitor from 10 years ago.
Yeah, that oldie was good to me over the years but was definitely time to move on. Was on the lookout for something good, then I saw this thread. When I checked it out in the store, SO saw me eying it and taking the pic for you guys so she decided to bite the bullet for me

Hmmm, interesting

WIll check tomorrow at the checkers nearby me, and see what its about
The box pretty much says the first pics I posted in the thread. No indication of freesync and something something 75hz.

The manual is very generic as well.
I don't think it even mentions some of the options the OSD has

Could be a fairly good alternative for tripple screen setup for sim racing.

Well affordable

I don't know if I would trust 2 monitors on that mounting mechanism, looks cheap and flimsy

I actually bought a single arm mount about 2 years ago. The quality far exceeded my expectations. Its a pretty solid mount, and the height adjustment works quite nicely too. The brand was SCE if I am not mistaken. Just my 2c.

If somebody can check out the 27" and let me know if it is worth it.

Our checkers is just a grocery shop.

unless it has terrible ghosting and is a laggy panel,
which at this price point would indicate a C grade panel

Can you change the refresh rate under the nvidia control panel to 144hz?
Screenshots are not in order, but in PC mode I can choose between 144Hz,120Hz,100Hz

The heading "Ultra HD, HD, SD" has the 1080p 60Hz only option

Sorry I couldn't help with this one.
Like I said, the box itself doesn't give much details

I got this at Helderberg Centre next to Somerset Mall
