Anybody getting the new Thrustmaster TCA throttle?

Hey mate, bought the Officer's Pack (stick and throttle) off Evetech yesterday - will give you a review when it arrives. If its good then will 100% get the Quadrant Add-On - looks super cool, go have a look!

Let's hope all works (and keep working, lest you be in for some depreciating vouchers).

The box came yesterday. Absolutely epic-looking toy. The stick is similar to other recent Thrustmaster sticks. Has a lock that restricts stick twist for rudder control, throught this was pretty cool. 2x trigger buttons. Removable/swappable PTT and AP master buttons - they also give a spare of each in the box so you can configure as you like. Stick is nice and heavy and feels solid. The buttons on the stick base do feel a little cheap, but there are 12 of them which is quite neat.

Onto the quadrant. Made of a heavy duty plastic, not as heavy as you'd like but feels well made. Possibly a little bit smaller than you may expect, its 8/10 of the size of the real thing. Throttles are smooth, with detents along the axis (you can disable these if you wish). Adjustable throttle tension through a screw in the base. Reverse thrusters through tabs that you lift up just like in the real plane. These can also be disabled if needed to give a longer throttle axis for planes without reversers. The throttles each have a configurable button.

Engine master switches feel really nice to flick on and off. They come blank with included stickers for engines 1-4 (since you can buy 2x quadrants and link them up for 4 engine play). The engine start switch is really nice heavy duty plastic with a solid feel as you turn it.

If you get the quadrant add-ons (I already ordered through Thrustmaster UK), they connect to the quadrant with attached screws and sata connectors, so you have a single cable from the whole contraption to your PC. The connector is removable USB-C on the device end.

All in all i'm kind of blown away by the endless configurability and the durable feel, for the price. The setup is R3k for the combo. The quadrant uses non-contact magnetic sensors as in the rest of TM's product line so apparently it will last forever...

I do think this is most appealing for a simmer who likes flying the airliners as it just really heightened the immersion. If I was more into the prop planes I may have looked to Logitech's throttle quadrant set up rather.

Holding thumbs for none of them vouchers!
