Should've known we have no thin carbies

I'm thin. 1.98m and 60Kg. Walking is prob the best exercise. I also did MMA for 6 years from 24-30 so that contributed...I think.

You just need to not eat everything in sight in order to control ya weight. We got too many fat Afrikaners here who just braai en naai daily.

You telling me I should waste my time doing anything else than braaing and naaing? Tsek.

edit: Sorry not smacktalk.

Ain't nothing wrong with braaiing and naaiing daily, one could even call this a blessing.

@Eeries Have you tried Intermittent fasting? example 16/8 window, where you eat between let's say 12 pm and 8 pm and basically fast from 8:01 pm to 11:59 am the next day.

Something like that, find a window that works for you. I've been doing this as a lifestyle change for the past 5 years. I cheat on my meals a lot, but maintain a certain weight... I'm currently heavier than I want to be, though.

For perspective, I lost 20kg in 3 months, through intermittent fasting and cutting out sugary drinks, and went from 105kg to 85kg.

Cut the carbs out as much as you can; meat and fresh veggies are the only things you want to eat regularly.

Walk outside? It's free and much nicer.

I always thought walking is a waste of time until I commited to walking the mainroad daily. Lost 15kg in 4 months so far. Probably would have lost more if I didn't chug a bottle of coke a day in the summer heat.

Just walk outside if you don't live in an exceptionally dangerous area

Better if you can do it fasted while not taking in anything before hand (water/black coffee is fine)

1 hour in the morning or evening 5 times a week then start pushing other exercise after 2/3 months

What is a walking pad? Is it something like a bachelor pad?

I have done intermittend fasting, and it works well, but this is not for weight loss, I just want something that makes me move while im working, not sit 4hours, train 1 hour, and sit 4 more hours. But I appreciate the advice

100% I walk before work, but I need to do it while im working, saves more time for weights if I can walk while working

Because fuck bru morning its get kids ready after work its making sure they eat, bathe, sleep, bam whole day in its poes, that is why im thinking surely nothing can beat a walking pad under a standing desk

This is the one I have. Everlast Walking pad
So far so good hasn't been a year yet but I lubed it once and had to adjust the belt.
One thing I can recommend is trying to get one with some sort of elevation as people say the workout is more intense vs just straight walking.
I see they have a new version that caters for this, pissed off I got mine now and didn't wait but it is what it is.
Everlast elevation
Want to invest in a standing desk next so I like you can utilize while I work.

Game changer cause we walk while watching our series or doing boring standups etc.

Cant say I recommend it but the brand is known and the quality is great.
Hope that helps

NOWWWW we are cooking thank you very much I will check it out and I am very familiar with Everlast, their shit is always good quality but I have never had any motorised equipment from them

Wrong target market.

Thin carbies don't need a walking pad, we're already sexy.

You need to be asking the formerly fat, the previously portly and retrospectively rotund.

Thanks my dude,

I currently have a 1975 Air force table, that I just removed the original square tubing "pote" and replaced them with longer "pote". I have no clue what you call it in english

Buying a standing desk is doos expensive, so I just modified my old desk

Don't forget that fat is lost in the kitchen, not through the gym/exercise.

Been doing this for about 4 months now. Works great but holy I've been losing mass in all of the wrong places and not fat in the actual places :ROFLMAO:

I've got the WalkingPad A1 Pro, got it via takealot. I don't use it as much as I should but it's been useful for a bit of extra exercise when I don't feel like swimming at gym.

If I were buying again, I think having an incline would be a bonus. Also consider if you want to run as you'll need one that has a higher max speed. I think the running ones also come with a bar for safety reasons. I've found it works the best since I've got it permanently set up for use, the less excuses the better
