Any Steelseries Arctis 5 headset owners?

Hi everyone

Just want to know how the Steelseries Arctis 5 headset stacks up in terms of comfort for 3hours+ gaming.

Are you satisfied with the Mic quality and sound of the set?

I intend to upgrade from a Steelseries Siberia V2 Heat Orange headset.

I've become quite a bit of a fanboy of the Steelseries gear and im hoping the Arctis 5 would be a good purchase.

Oh and did n mention RGB...

Very comfortable, depending on head and ear size because the cups are a bit shallow. They are very soft so theres no discomfort, the fabric used is quite nice and doesnt heat up like leather/pleather. Mic is very good

Plus one for me too. I am however tempted to upgrade to the 7 simply because I am getting tired of keeping on getting the cable stuck over my chair arm

I picked up the 7 for R1, 299 a little bit back (new : score).
Had to import cups from Amazon as the shallowness of the stock cups made my ears hurt after a few hours. Now they hundreds and easily the best cans I have had for PC.

Awesome thanks for the feedback. A bit worried about the shallowness of the cups. But my current headset also hurts my ears but thats because of the cushion thats not so firm anymore from its age.

The cushion here is very soft, hence because its shallow it be a bit painful, but again that will depend on your ear size. If you have to replace the cups then go for those that are covered in velour

I have the Arctis 3 and worn them for 3 hours+ and they don't hurt my ears, so as people have mentioned, it depends. The fabric is great on the 3 (I assume it's the same on the 5?) and it gets hot where I live and they stay comfortable temperature wise.

So i got myself the Arctis 5 headset....wow they are definitely comfortable as hell! Big ups for the comments!

Only big adjustment for me was the sound. Its not bad or anything. I just struggled a bit in CSGO as im not used to the set. I've gotten so used to my Siberia V2 that it felt that i could hear people across the map. But now i've gotten used to the new set everything is fine again.

love my arctis 5, but if i could go back, i would choose the 7. wireless is just so much more convenient, especially since it is one of the few gaming headsets you can wear in public without looking like a total prick

I came from using the ps4 gold headset through aux on the pc to using the arctis 7s, and wasn't super impressed with the sound quality. I was struggling to hear where people were coming from as if they were next to me or behind me (CSGO). I changed some settings and enabled the one setting (dsfx or something like that? Can't remember at all right now) and then also made sure my audio setting in cs were on headset and now it's 100 times better. I think it is basically for the surround sound, but play around a bit with the settings and see what works for you.

Raru. They had one of those flash sale thingies, and one of my colleagues drew my attention to it. I did not even take a second to think about. 5 mins after order, it went back to original price.
So ye - right time, right place. Big time score.
