The whole VRAM thing is blown out of proportion, when a GTX680 2GB can run COD at 1080p without issues at 60fps at low settings.

AMD wanted to sell cards. They added more memory to differentiate. They were losing sales

Now we are caught up in the spending spree. Most cards on steam stats are less than 4gb.

20 GB 3080 at USD 899. Haha. I am sure many will buy it.

In that screenshot it shows your PCIE at 5GT/s at maximum which is PCIE 2.0 speed.

Can you double check in GPUz that you're running full PCIe speed (16 GT/s for 3.0 and 32GT/s for 4.0).
Bios is set to auto. Will force gen 4 as I run AMD and see if it changes. I am getting the right numbers though, so I believe it's just HWinfo reporting incorrectly.
Interesting that you used almost all 10 gig video memory. Was that in flight sim or warzone?

That was warzone.

Set to 4.0 in bios. HWinfo only reporting 16GT. Included Gpuz. See anything abnormal?

All good now. HWinfo shows 16GT/s so that implies the BIOS was actually auto'ing to 5GT/s which is PCIe 2.0.
You should see a 4% performance increase now.

32GT/s was my mistake, that's PCIE 5.0.
16GT/s is PCIE 4.0, 8GT/s is PCIE 3.0 and 5GT/s is PCIE 2.0.

I'm definitely not going to be competing with you bud lol
You have a monster 3950X and to be fair you're far more talented than I am when it comes to Overclocking.
I'll post some scores just for the hell of it though.

Still with the stock 9900KF. Quick Dirty run.

Looking at your graphics score, that run is great. Nice one.

I think it's going to be great from all I've read. That's a win, win for consumers.

seeing that non of the 3080 owners here have crash issues, could i have a defective card? or is my 750w psu not sufficient to handle the card at full load?

Yes likely the psu you should start with. Remember age also plays a role. Assuming you now running the card off two seperate pcie cables

He really shouldn't be having issues with that PSU that he has. As mentioned by Adam if he is using separate 8 pin connectors there should be no load problems.
@D3adR4t my gut feel is you have a bad bin but there is no harm in trying another PSU. Just piggyback it into your case . Even if you buy one and have to return it. It will give you peace of mind being able to eliminate one big variable.

Thanks, much more trustworthy than "heard from a guy, who knows a guy, that has a 3080, that read it on the interwebs".
