I just want to inform anyone wondering about the warranty on items ordered from Amazon USA.

I contacted Amazon USA support and was informed that they only accept returns within the first 30 days.
To clarify, my inquiry was regarding the Samsung Tab S7+ which would fall under the Computers and Electronics Return Policy.
It does not matter whether the item becomes faulty after the 30-day return window and is still within the manufacturer's warranty period.

After the 30-day return window, the customer must deal with the manufacturer directly within the USA unless the product is covered by an international warranty by the manufacturer.

I see that people have been making listings in the classifieds of products ordered from Amazon USA and specifying that the product has a warranty with Amazon. This might be true within the 30-day return window, but do keep in mind that after that you are at the mercy of the manufacturer's return policies within the USA.

I have the screenshot of the support chat if anyone wants to see it.

well that is not good seeing that Aramex takes almost 30 days or mor to deliver. Amazon should really switch from using Aramex, useless company that.

I updated my original post to include specifically which product I inquired about.

@AinsleyHarriott Perhaps your Nutribullet was covered by a different return policy of Amazon.
My inquiry was regarding something covered under the computers and electronics section.

@Blood_Bought I would presume that the 30-day return period only starts once delivery has been made, but I'm speaking under correction.

In my case my item was delivered within 14 days of me buying it and I contacted them for a return by around day 21 after buying.
Return could not have been simpler but I DID read the documentation they inked to with the return (you know, that fine print we all love to read over and over again just for fun ;) :p ) Inside that they clearly state that the item must be received back within 31 days from the date the return was logged.

With that being the case I would assume you are correct in assuming the 30 days being from date of delivery... but if assumption is not your thing then I'm sure there is plenty of fine print to go read in their shipping FAQ ;)

AFAIK it depends on who the warranty lies with, yeah. But this can be checked beforehand. If you talk to support though they're generally pretty chill and always want to help. I've ordered many things and never had any unfixable mistakes or whatever. It can be a blessing and a pain to deal with big companies when things go wrong.

Still, I'd gamble the 0.5% chance of something busting vs paying double vs local markup on select goods.

@Womz I worked for Amazon for a while (4 years) and yep I can confirm the only electronics that has a longer warranty with Amazon are their devices eg Kindle, Fire tablet, Alexa etc, all other electronics have a 30 day window in which you can request a return, the window starts from the day the tracking shows delivered. They do however work on a case by case basis if the product is not too old and if you explain that it's super difficult to reach out to the manufacturer as you're from a different country, they might refund you partially or even fully, maybe use their -contact us call back- feature so you can speak to a rep it always works out better than a chat.

Thanks for the insight @ShudleyZA. That's good to know.
