Noob question but is Nicehash Legacy miner only for AMD cards? I tried it the other day with my 1070 but it doesnt want to work after bench marking. Or am I missing something here?
Legacy can be used with both AMD and Nvidia cards. I have it running on all my rigs which are a mix of NVIDIA and AMD cards. What does it do after benchmarking? How does it not work? Does it give an error message? Were the benchmarks successful and results output?

Lol. It was bound to happen.
I know with just 7x 1070 right now I'll have no need for massive heating come winter time. And it actually seems cheaper.
In summer though, it can really make a house unpleasant. Heat in my home was so bad this summer, I moved my rigs to my granny flat which is thankfully unoccupied.

Anyone else having issue with Nicehash profitability at the moment?

Like it is really crappy in general at the moment, but comparing the algos my GPUs are 'consistently' mining, turns out whattomine says the avg profitability has been in the 80% range, compared to ETH which is always at 100%.

Time to mine ETH again?

How did you get it started and how is it different from normal nicehash?
I started off with nh2, but had stability issues after a few days. So under recommendation from a colleague I downgraded Nvidia driver and used NH legacy. It just fired up, did benchmarks, some failed, it didn't care and it started mining.

What is your setup not doing? Is it not finding the cards?

I worked yesterday. Notice it didnt want to benchmark all the algorithms. Message popped up afterwards and after that it started mining. Perhaps it worked last night as the previous day I had Nicehash open (but not mining) while to get Legacy to work

Anyone know of a Vega 64 bios for the XFX double edition vega 56?
This is the card: XFX Radeon RX Vega 56 RX-VEGALDFF6 8GB HBM2 2048-bit PCI-E 3.0 Desktop Graphics Card - Wootware

It is a custom pcb, so i cant flash any reference bios on there. I cant find a bios. It will only give me 1750 - 1800h/s on XMR and its annoying the crap out of me.
I now remember why i went team green all those years ago, and see AMDs software is still beyond crap. Other than that the vega's are pretty good miners.

If there is no bios, is there anyone on here that got these to run at 1900+h/s, and would you be willing too help me set that up please. :)

This below shows 1900+ h/s on monero

Thanks for the info. will try his method which is contrary to all the other methods for cast xmr to run at over 1900h/s. Also he doesnt have the same vega 56's i have. I have 7x of those ugly Vega 56 double editions, and nothing seems to work. OverdriveTool also doesnt apply my settings to half of the cards. you can switch bioses, DDU, drivers install over and over again.

The only thing i havent done is disable hbcc, as that is what everyone says you should turn on and then disable and enable every display adapter to get past the glitch.

So looks like all vega 56's do those hashrates super easy, but not the ones i got. Hard to like these cards, very hard.

only 3 out of the 7 cards disable hbcc and run at 1900h/s. so must be that the 7 cards i bought together have different bioses on them or doesnt play well with my motherboard.

Wattman OC settings also do not ever stay the same on all 7 cards. They change at will. Lovely software AMD has made here.
