Hi all[emoji868]So im looking to buy an item from alixpress and was curious if anyone has bought from them before?

I was told buy another to always choose a seller with the highest amount of stars and reviews.

Can anyone share whether this Chinese platform is any good.Would appreciate any advice with their warranty periods, returns policy and over all experience.

Thank you all[emoji120]

I always get quoted outrageous shipping fees on aliexpress so I usually stick to ebay or Bangood( which handles shipping easily)

Are the fees not listed at the checkout point or are there additional hidden fees?

Ali started good til shipping went through the roof. Friends have moved to Bangood now over Ali.

Hey[emoji868]do u know what the shipping was because I'm seeing 50 dollars for shipping roughly per item,is it more than shown?

Aliexpress has ALWAYS been unpredictable for me. There are items I've received in the past and also items that never ever got to me.
Depending what you're looking for, rather source from somewhere else.
All the years if using Bangood I've always received my order.

I know geatbest has the express line shipping to South Africa which is cheap and good for a courier company. Although their product selection and pricing is weak compared to aliexpress.

When I lived in France aliexpress items would usually come in 1-2 weeks and just be brought to my door. But in South Africa its a bit difficult given how bad the post office is and now you also need to go to them, stand in line and pay a collection fee.

It's ironic sapo no longer deliver parcels from abroad to your door like they used to and then still charge you a fee to collect (like a fee for them not having to do their job - I find this funny).

I order from AliExpress often, mostly stupid little nifty things that I know I won't find anywhere else. But after you order it, put the ETA in your calendar and forget about it. Shipping takes very long, however, they do refund you if their items don't arrive - I have gotten refunds from them previously for items not arriving.

I say go for it.
