So was bored and did this.

Used a H55 and brackets for AMD with the AIO drilled it to fit on NZXT AMD brackets as they did not fit I then dremmeled the plate between memory and heat sink. No need for the heat pipes so cut them off to have the rear end still cool the rest. Took about two hours. Max temp on GPU on furmark was 73.

Nice DIY mod there buddy.
You should try switching the AIOs. 240mm for GPU + 120mm for CPU. GPU generates much more heat than CPU.
 
One day when I grow up I also want to chop up a Rtx 2070 and watercool it, hectic.

Is the cooler still doing anything? Looks like you cut the heatpipes? Presumably it is only supporting the fan to keep the VRMs cool?
