So I'm looking to purchase the Logitech Z906 5.1 Speakers new and basically all the retail prices are pretty high compared to what it once was.
But these are the all the ones that come in under 4k, where my prefered retailer options all exceed 5k.

So please recomend one of these aboce the others based on prevouis expierience as I've eitehr heard bad things from them or are unknown to their site
Makro I'm not familiar with makro's service of their imported products, this one from newegg
evetech The sites full of negative info regarding them
firstshop Heard their sales support is weak and delivery is slow
relictech all I know about them is that I thought they were google adds for rebeltech in the beginning

I can say from experience that rebeltech is brilliant for both sales and aftersales. Evetech has nice prices but aftersales support is pretty bad.

rebeltech isn't one of the options, if they were I would have ordered already

I can vouch for Makro and Firstshop.

Firstshop's communication was meh but recieved goodies all fine n dandy.

I have ordered from Firstshop twice I think, and once was just before Christmas and they actually went the whole 9 yards to get everything to me just in time, this was however I think 4 years ago I think.

In all honesty ... I really don't know why Evetech gets such a bad wrap. I've only had good positive experiences with them. From what I've seen they are bigger than all the other online PC retailers in SA combined and have given me great service and sales.

*shrug*

My bad :) I misread relictech. Wow. Maybe thata what they wanted. But their prices have always seemed a little too good to be true.

I have bought 2 external HHD from Makro about 8 years ago. One died 6 months into the 2-year warranty, they exchanged it without any hassle.
AFAIK Makro's ordinary warranty is only 6 months, irrespective of the fact that Logitech normally has longer warranty periods when bought from other retailers.
Makro may have changed since then....

I can honestly say that I have only had good service from Evetech.
Makro too for that matter, but never ordered anything online from them, only store

Makro should be a safe bet. But I'd be worried about delays seeing that it's imported.

Evetech after sales support seems to be about 50/50 around here. I myself had a wonderful experience with an Asus laptop. Asus screwed us over saying it's "user damage" (it broke at the hinge, couldn't even close it anymore) and Evetech decided to carry the cost of the repairs for us as they could clearly see that it broke from regular use.

Same as @PeterJ with regards to Evetech.
I ordered by Claymore kb from Raru and after a month of delays I finally managed to get them to cancel my order and refund me instead of giving store credit.
Then I placed the order with Evetech, and the next day my kb arrived without any hassles, no damage, no problematic switches, nothing.
Needless to say though, I cannot vouch for their after sales support at all as I have not had the need to deal with them yet.

Thanks, seems evetech gets the most recommendations in the thread, makro would have been convenient but they're not clear on warranty

Sorry, no direct advise to add. Just my 2 cents.
Nice to see mods still asking for advice.
I would take into consideration the "bad" rep of a company if it's new and avoid them, otherwise take the comments as a warning should you need to deal with them in the future. I now know that we as consumers have to make a noise and follow up and demand better service from companies even if we think they have a good rep. Even huge international companies. (Ford parts department. *cough).
I now ask "when will it be ready?", "when and who can I call you if its not ready?". Take names and record time and dates and when they don't do as they promise I ask to speak to their supervisor/manager all the way up to the owner of the business if that is what is required for me to get "good service". That's just how it is here in SA

I've been impressed with Makro's online shopping (their physical shops are another story...) and firstshop is okay.

Unfortunately suppliers cant budge on the price :(
Hope you get a nice deal, the Z906s are awesome.
