Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone can advise me.

I live in a flat and plan on moving out in the next 6 months. Have been using Telkom LTE prepaid for the last 18 months, and its been pretty cool.

Over the last few weeks the LTE connection speed with Telkom has severely depreciated, so I'm wanting a non-telkom prepaid LTE solution.

I have a Huawei B315 router, and I went and got a new MTN simcard Rica'd today.

Is it possible for me to sign up with Rain / Afrihost without one of their proprietary sims, get like a 30/30 or 40/40 gb bundle?

I've been looking at their sites, but the method isn't apparent. The MTN salesman today told me it is possible. Has anybody else gone this route? Or anything similarly easiy

You could use rain its not a binding contract and you can cancel anytime but do a test run buy the sim when it is on promotion when they have a 7 day free 24hr uncapped special and please check if the special is running cause i purchased thinking it is a thing rain provides with there normal service but it was just a promo , test it and see i have a b315 the signal was bad then tested it on the b525 signal was full but not as fast due to my area tower i think hope this helps
