Advice on a new case

Thanks man. Ideally would like a local supplier that I can pick up either the Cm 212 or Phanteks from but will give wootware a shot if I cant get it from here.
Yeah, unfortunately Wootware is the only local seller of Phanteks products.

Dude... I got a very similar setup with an i5 3570k overclocked to 4.1Ghz in a CM Storm Enforcer chassis (it was not that cheap when I purchased it back then). My temps were not so great either. I initially replaced the stock cooler with a 212X which provided ample cooling running the cpu at stock. This is a great cooler to replace the stock one, as suggested by the previous comments. I recently decided to OC the cpu a little, then picked up a closed loop cooler for around R1.2k to provide enough cooling to the cpu under load. Really makes a difference in terms of cooling and noise reduction! The biggest problem I faced is that it's great to have good air flow with fans galore but it usually comes at the price of your pc sounding like a Boeing 747, so don't forget to consider that unless you're okay with it.

Haha thanks man. Yeah I know the struggle. Luckily I have a decent set of headphones so noise cancelling works wonders...

I looked at into the water cooling but it's quite expensive and would also need to upgrade my case as the design isnt radiator friendly...

Ah that makes sense!
I see the white version of the tc12dx is going for 579 on wootware... will probably put an order in today.. thanks for the help bud
Very good cooler. I had one and my cpu (i5 4590) was idling at 27-29 degrees and went up to about 45 on load (gaming not stress testing though) with some CM Mastergel Pro thermal paste.

Hey guys so I'm going to close this thread tomorrow. Just thought is give everybody some feedback seeing as you guys are insanely amazing and I'd like to thank each and every one if you for taking the time to assist me!

As per advice I ended up picking up the Phanteks tc12dx seeing as the 212x is completely out of stock..

It's super easy to install and I'm no genius with these sort of things!
Anyways I got it sorted and turned on my PC and.... silence! It's so dang quiet in comparison to the stock cooler (which is complete and absolute junk!)

I noticed straight away that my idle temps are about 30 (and it's hot today!)
So just ran a stress test that I previously failed.... and happy to announce that my CPU didnt break 55 celcius!
Thanks again everybody for the support and advice!!

Happy gaming!
