I must have gone through a number of 8700K CPUs in their day.
None of which was as good as the 8700K's Skalas80 is selling right here on the forum. Not just hearsay but take a look for yourself.
As a side note, CPU has been delided and had the paste replaced by TH Kryonaught.
That said, this was done to all previous 8700K CPUs as well, so that's not what makes these better than average.
Pay attention to the CPU-z voltage reading. It's correct (actually reads a little higher as load is 1.159v) , as it confirms direct reading from ASP1405 VRM controller & probe-it points.
Using Loadline Calibration Level 6
Manual CPU Voltage @ 1.2v
SVID disabled.
Power draw under AVX load is 110W measured with HWInfo
Not a tutorial but letting anyone who may be interested in his CPUs that they are really good, (at least this batch).
