So here is where I am currently with my dream build in progress.

This is a pc that is hopefully going to last me a good 5 years once i'm done bar the minor upgrade here or there over the years.

Ive always loved the full glass look hence why i went for a full glass case and the red has always appealed to me especially with the cherry red thumb screws the side panels have.

I had a full water cooling loop prior to this build that unfortunately packed up along with a gpu which inevitably put me back to air and inevitably got me to the 1080ti. So the overall goal was that come hell or high water we would have the whole thing under water once again.

There is going to be a cpu and motherboard upgrade come November to finally get the 1080ti out of the 50% bottleneck lol.

But for now here is what is all in the case:

CPU - i5 6600k (Going to a 8700k later this year)
Mobo - MSI Z170 Gaming M5 (Going to a Aorus Z390 ultra later this year)
RAM - 4x 4g DDR4 3000 Corsair Dominator Plats
GPU - Asus GTX 1080ti Founders Edition
Case - Corsair 570x Red edition
Cooling: EK D5 140mm pump/res combo, EK white HDC fittings, EK-FC1080 GTX Ti block + Backplate, EK Supremacy MX Acetal, EK 240mm SE + 360mm PE rads, Acrylic tubing that has been frosted
SSD's - 128GB Samsung 840 evo + 250GB Samsung 850 evo

Extras - Barrow LED temp indicator and clear flow meter

Still to be added:

Custom modular cables by Beyond Customs
500GB nvme drive
I7 8700k - Looking to get this bad boy to 5GHz
Z390 Aorus ultra motherboard

So 1st up was the new case

And then the comparison from my old one to the new one

Final result of all the aircooled hardware inside

Watercooling goodies arrived

Heres the final product!

GPU sits at around 20c at idle and around 32c at load. Cpu is around 24c at idle and around 40-45c at load.

Edit: Just a few benchmarks for fun

will update again when the new cpu and motherboard are in.

That GPU thermal paste application, not the method i would have used.

I'm used to the rice grain on the center method myself but the Thermalgrizzly instructions actually stipulate you do it that way as you get a 'spread nozzle' with the tube.

Looks great dude👏 well done. What software do you use to monitor gpu and cpu temps? I used to use asus ai suite 3, but for some reason it's gotten buggy af. Had to reinstall windows twice because of it.

Hey man thanks allot!

I personally use these two applications to monitor temps. The hardware monitor gives you a very nice breakdown of a few other things as well. There is obv the free version and the paid for PRO version that does give you more options if you want.

ASUS GPU tweak II

You can use Core Temp (for CPU) and MSI Afterburner (for GPU) if you want to see temps in the desktop.

MSI Afterburner can also show CPU & GPU temps and load in games/benchmarks.

This is straight up PC porn, where's that NSFW tag?? ;) ;)

That frosted tubing looks sick!!

So as an update I re did my loop recently as the old one wasnt quite what i wanted. Also changed the white fittings for red 9nes to match the them im going for abit better.

Here is where im at currently up until my new hardware arrives and I'll then frost all the tubes again along with then adding the custom cables, psu cover for the whole infront of the pump and some subtle N7 strip vinyl on the glass panels 👌🤦‍♂️
