9mm Drive Caddy For Laptop

Hi guys,

I Want to upgrade a Lenovo G50-80 with an SSD, apparently the optical drive bay size is 9mm and the only caddy I've found online that's available is this one :

OEM 9mm Mac SATA HDD and SSD Caddy - Syntech

For Macbook only Increase OS speed Hot swapping capability Interface SATA (HD) to SATA (DVD)

My question is since it says that the drive caddy is for "Mac only" will it not work in the lenovo? It looks identical to the other caddies I've seen so unless they're using the wrong picture I don't
see why it wouldn't fit in the bay.

Any advice would be appreciated ✌

Matrix keep both 12.7 and 9. Im also looking for one of these, in the 12.7 size.

I did the same to my ole Aspire. Bought mine from Takealot and it works like a BAUSS <---that's still a relevant reference, right...right......................RIGHT?!?!?!?!
