Easy NVFlash Guide with Pictures for GTX 970/980
www.overclock.net
Evening all,
I hope you are well.
So I followed the above tutorial to the T, and re-enabled my GPU before restarting and I got no display after the restart. This was the second bios flash I did, the first flash worked no problems at all, but I am looking for a bios with a higher power limit and so tried a second flash, and now have no display. Is there anyway to recover this? Or am I fucked?
Heinreich has been a great help trying different method in getting it back up and running if it isn't completely bricked. Debug LED's on the Mobo don't go past VGA (It goes in order of CPU-DRAM-VGA-BOOT) when the 980ti is installed. And I cannot autobios flash simply because I do not get display.
If anyone knows of a method in which to be able to get display and into the bios in this situation, you would be a massive help, as to my knowledge I'm stuck waiting and have to ask a carbie once the lockdown is done if I may use their PC to do the flash.
I do not have IGPU hence why I cannot fix this. Otherwise I would follow the below video:
I am grateful I at least have another card to be able to use during this time.
Thank you in advance.
Methods tried:
Only 980Ti - nothing
Both Gpu's - No display
Only Vega 56 - PC installed the drivers for the card works perfectly fine - this made me think that the first time with both GPU'S in and no disay was due to the card maybe not having drivers and not being recognized as the primary card.
Both Gpu's - no display (This I cannot understand why)
And so I am confused as to why, if the 980Ti is plugged in at all, there is no display.
