Unfortunately it's still a locked chip,only K or KF CPUs can OC

Haha, iv been through a few 8700k's. Ended up downgrading my bundle to a 6700k to fund the desk.

Now I'm ready to upgrade and there are very few CPU's for sale. That Intel Price Hike just foiled my plans.

Oh Hectic my bad, according to Evetech's website it says it is overclock-able but obviously they are misinformed even the TDP is wrong.
