Hi all, just want some advice on what card to purchase between a 6600xt and a 3060LHR?

If I could get another 2060S at under 10k I would do that, as my current one is running at 41MH/s with an underclock.

What would you recommend and why?
Is it possible to get around the LHR on Windows?
Both cards will be running on a windows 10 based OS, and the machine will need to be stable at all times.

I haven’t used either but I have used a 3060ti lhr and am able to get 46MH stable which is around 75% with the latest trex. I’m assuming the 3060 lhr should give you around 37MH at around 90-100 watts.

I’ve heard that the 6600xt does around 32 MH but the power is a lot less.

Oh, and I use windows without any issue. I also use trex miner with thr absolute clock settings. No need for afterburner.

The 6600XT is much more efficient on ETH than the 3060 LHR. Although it only gets 32MH, it uses much less energy per MH. The 3060 LHR v2 does about 35-36MH on ETH at 105 - 115W, depending if you are pushing max hashrate or efficiency, with the latest T-rex. (watch the 3060 LHR v2 video on my YouTube channel for analysis).

That said, the 6600XT does not well on any other algo except ETH. The 3060 gives you more flexibility on algos, especially with ETH going POS. I also believe the 3060 will have a better resale value in future.

ok so at R10k how long would it take for the 6600XT to pay itself off?
