You can say shit, nobody minds. But also mining for 12 months, and you still have 2 years of warranty? Pretty good deal. Also GPUs are pretty resilient, and mining doesn't cause any noticeable degradation. Most miners will underclock their cards and keep constant load on a card. The whole shtick that a card that has been mined with is somehow now inferior to a normal gaming card is a pretty big myth. I am willing to bet if you handed a card that has been mined with for a year, and a card that has been gamed with for a year to someone to try and determine the difference they wouldn't be able to.

It just depends how that particular person looked after the cards in question.

Anyway, just my 2 cents!

Fans have a limited life span. Thermal compound doesn't remain effective forever. Degradation does occur. Signs probably won't show up within the warranty period but will definitely affect the total lifespan.
