Hi folks, I need some advice / guidance, currently looking to get a 50 - 55" 4K TV.
With so many different tech, acronyms, models, it's really hard for a pleb like myself to decide what is actually relevant and makes for a great viewing experience.
What will I use it for? DSTV Sport, Netflix, YouTube etc. - no gaming as this will be in the living room. Maaaaybe PS5 in a year or two's time when their prices have come down.
Size? 50 - 55" seems like a good option, not too big and a massive upgrade over the ancient old school TV we are currently rocking.
Price? Around R7000, preferably not more but if a feature making a big difference will bump up the price by R1000 then I would consider it.
What is important for me? I guess size is the biggest ask, If I had to choice between size and features, I'd rather settle for the larger size.
After some Google'ing, it seems that these are currently the best options I can find:

In this price range, Hisense seems to make the most sense. Would love a Samsung, but they are just so expensive
