Hi carbies, Netcare needs some help.
Help where you can, it's a pretty easy print.
Happy to help but Whatsapp group is full. Where do I get details.Hi carbies, Netcare needs some help.

What are they using for the "shield" part ? Would be nice if one can give them complete Face Shield.

I am just printing a bunch of these anyway and will get them to a Netcare hospital during the week.
Cannot find the file they show in the Netcare image, but this one actually looks better. Doesn't need the clips.
Quick print A4 face shield by diy_Connect
Printed with 0.6 nozzle 0,4-0,5 layer height on artilery x1 in 20ish minutes. Accepts any A4 foil. HAs enough friction to keep the sheet holding by itselfwww.thingiverse.com
Please join the original group at this link. We are busy moving to projects in each province. Or join up at facevisor.co.za where request and donations can be submitted and fulfilled.Dont use the Ruah collection, there is a big controversy, they have nothing to do with the 3dprinting store one. They are targeting private healthcare and because of them netcare pulled out completely.
There is a discord group for the original thing, there is a form to collect in the discord group and 3dprintstore is doing a give away of a ender 3 pro for people that print at least 10. Its now being collected by the SA search and rescue peeps

Seemsblike you might have some moeisture in your filament, try dryvit in an oven, also are you using an enclosure? And on some of them, looks like your nozzle was to far from bedHowsit guys!
So I recently embarked on using my ABS plastic, want to move from prototyping to permanent use.
The below is what happened with my first prints. Has anyone experienced something like this before?
I used the same printer to make sure that's not the problem, so I'm guessing it's either my plastic, or my settings...
I think you might be right about moisture, I did hear some crackling when it heated up to 230.Also, what temp is your bed at? And what are you using to print on? Abs is a bitch to get right, but once you sort all the issues, i prefer abs over pla for most parts
Yup, i have one printer just doing abs, doesnt even have a part cooling fan connectedGood morning Verkeer.
I hope you are well in this infectious times. I print ABS 99% of the time.
My settings: Bed 90 and nozzle 230.
No airflow (fan) over your heat block, nozzle, and printbed. Only fan over the cooling tower otherwise you will get heat creep.
The printer must be enclosed or no sudden airflow through the room you are printing in.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
That is very nice. How long did it take to print all the parts?
Hi guys after many months of waiting (thank corona for that) i have finally received my printer (Tronxy xy-2 with the filament runout sensor and glass bed), everything seems to work except i cannot print it keeps throwing up errors, the hotend temp sensor hovers between - 47 and -50 degrees, could it be a faulty hotend sensor that is causing the problem ?
the bed heats up and that sensor is working pefectly. i have contacted tronxy support over the weekend but they havent answered yet
