So the new Fallout 76 game has a collectors edition that comes with a life-size, wearable power armour helmet. The edition also costs $200 and is sold out already. This got me thinking about how much I want a power armour helmet for display. Assuming files were available for such a thing, would your setup be capable of creating such a large and detailed thing? Also, I do not know the cost of filament. At a thumbsuck, how much would an item like this cost to produce?

@Dopplegarp ; so sorry for only seeing your message now. For some reason I did not get an email about it. Strange.
That would be an awesome print. Do you know exactly which version of the power armor you are referring to? X-01; T60b, T51? I have not played the Fallout games (Shock!) so I wouldnt know which is more popular.
Also, I have printed life sized dogs before so size is never an issue. In terms of quality, FDM printers have layer lines which can be smoothed over nicely with fillers and paint.
In terms of price, you would certainly be paying less than $200. Just an absolute thumbsuck, I would say you are looking at between R1000-2000 approx. That is really a thumbsuck though. If you would like a quote, drop me a PM
