Hi guys,

Not sure if this is correct Forum to post in, but is it possible to 3D print a bracket for the NZXT Kraken G12 mount to fit a layer version of a aio pump, those square pumps?

As i understand that those kraken g12 only support the older round asetek pumps which are harder to find now recently...

I already got the g12 mount now just needing a aio to fit onto it...

Any help will be appreciated

Hi, so two things. Firstly, the G12 itself cannot really be modded to fit another pump, since any pump block that is not the right shape won't fit through the hole. You'd either have to cut the G12 itself, or 3D-print a brand new bracket. I checked on Thingyverse a while ago and I think I found a bracket for Cooler Master AIOs but it did not have any way to mount the 90mm fan, which is vital for memory/VRM cooling (without this you're going to have a bad time).

Secondly, there is one AIO listed on the G12's compatibility list widely available in SA - The Thermaltake Water 3.0 - see here: Thermaltake Water 3.0 120 ARGB Sync CPU Cooler It's not expensive compared to how much you'd have paid for the other compatible coolers (e.g. H55) when they were still available. You can also get the 240mm version if you want more cooling power. I also suspect the round-block Asus coolers (the TUF LC, the ROG Ryuo, etc.), which are widely available in SA, will work because they look like the Asetek style mount. But I have not managed to find confirmation of this online.
