Hi All,

I can get a 2nd hand CR-10S and a Wanhao Duplicator 7 from a friend as he is moving overseas.
Any advise of what I should offer him?

He also has like 10kg of filament.

Thanks! :)

The d7 is a resin printer, does use filament. Really cool printer, a lot of effort tho.

each of those printers are 10k new and 10kg of filament is around 3k.

I dont see someone new to 3d printing going through the effort of the d7 and also the d7 needs the screen replaced every once in a while which costs about 2k so second hand id put its value at around 5k, the cr10s is a beast and if say second hand easy 7k. So id offer max 12 for those with the filament

Great, thank you for the advice. Got both printers for R10k.
Now to figure out what is the best design software ;)

Yea i was going to say i would have offered 10k so that is a good price. When you hate the d7 with your whole heart and soul let me know and ill buy it from you :p i have been printing on resin printers for a while now.

What do you want to design?

I use fusion 360. It's free.
Are you the same crypto crow who is related to people from Arion coin?
Hey bud, thanks for the assistance last night. Got my Fusion 360 working. And yes, it is me ;)

I heard resin printers takes a bit to get used too. To be dead honest, I just bought them to play around with. It seems hard to make decent money with 3d printers...or perhaps that is just a miss conception I have.
I want to print some miniature figurines, some small furniture parts for my daughters doll house etc.

I also like to start to print parts to put together a CNC Router just for fun.

I guess I wouldn't mind a occasional buck or two for printing something for someone.

What do you use yours for?

Yea resin printers can be a pain in the ass but the quality you get out of them is insane. So for minis they are insane, here is a mini i printed with one of mine 57878

I have a bunch of printers, i us them purely for hobby printing, i play a lot of dnd so i mostly print minis and scenery for that. Couldnt be bothered trying to make money from printing

Great hobby you just started! Love it

For a cnc, have a look at the MPCNC. On my personal to-do list of DIY cnc stuff

Looks great! Which printer was used for that Tauren?

That is the exact one I was looking at, thanks! What do you use your printer for?

Mainly to build other 3D printers 🙈 and I love to print functional parts.
But that being said, I do also enjoy a fine detailed model to test my printer's capabilities.

Check the link in my sig, I have a build-log for the other printers:D
