Lmfao any links to justify this?
I plan on using it to heavily modify it over some time once i learn how lol. A nice cheap 3d printer that i can destroy n not hate myself for lol.

Found it cheaper here also.

He is not wrong, it does not come with thermal runaway protection. You can enable it by flashing the board but unfortunately that board you can not but you could buy a nice board for R600 odd that you can replace that board with that will be a lot better and have the TRP

Google search 3D printers burning houses down 😁

I tend to steer clear of the 'cheapies'. They naturally use cheaper components and cut corners to get the price as low as possible. Some catch fire and some burn houses down.

More headaches than they're worth and usually require a bunch of 3rd party mods to make them remotely usable. By the end of it you just wish you had gone a more mainstream option and the terrible experience just puts you off 3D printing entirely.

You get what you pay for - thats the gist of it.

Awesome thanks, do you know of any good sites to buy such a board?

there are essentially 2 types of 3D printing hobbyists IMO - tinkerers and makers.

If you're a tinkerer and don't mind upgrading and modding shit ALL the time then go with a printer more aimed for that sort of use case.

A maker just wants to be able to print good prints without hours and days of troubleshooting and modding.

Im honestly gona use it to tinker with and mess around with it, i dont expect a well working machine at all, yet lol

But thanks for the heads up @AAAH NUUU BRU & @Qui_Illustrati i definitely wont leave the printer unattended until ive upgraded the bed etc

I have a mate that bought a printer from banggood and it prints really nicely so i cant fault the print quality but the safety is definitely not up to scratch.

Go watch some vids from a channel called teaching tech, you will learn a bunch about all these kinds of things and it will help you with deciding how to best upgrade.

We have officially detailed this thread into oblivion tho .... sorry OP

I have a sealed XYZprinting Da Vinci Junior 1.0A 3D Printer if you are interested ?

If I weren't so besotted on going the resin route - for a little more - I'd have gone the Ender 5 over the Ender 3 - value for money seems better on the Ender 5 IMO
