32", 4k, 144hz Gaming monitor

Since you have the GPU to drive 4k 120hz, if you have the space then have you considered a LG CX OLED tv?
Oooof....

I think it actually has a 120hz refresh rate?

Refresh rate is only one of a few metrics that make a screen good for gaming. Input Lag and Response Time is often overlooked.

I've been down the same rabbit hole as you. I currently have a 28" 4K 60Hz monitor and I recnetly got a 3090 so I've been looking to upgrade to a 4K 144Hz option. I've been looking at the Acer Predator CG7 which seems like the best choice at the moment.

Keep in mind that importing form the US will set you back roughly an extra 55% on import duties and taxes. Your actual price will be VALUE + 10% duty + 25% monitor tax + 15% VAT + shipping - so that $1200 monitor will actually cost you R35K once everything is paid.

If we can get enough interest, we could convince Acer that a bulk import might be worth it. They would need a commitment of at least 500 units though.

Is a 55" TV too big? The LG CX and C1 (released later this year) costs a lot less than R35k but gives you 4k 120hz and better black levels than any monitor. Also less ghosting from what I understand.

I want to switch over to an OLED LG TV as my main screen, just need to figure out how far back I must sit for this to work since we are probably not going to be getting the cheaper 42" and 48" variants.
