Out of curiosity and education, I am not finding any reference of this particular model's motor specification being brushless?

I just checked the manual and you're correct, the US 20V MAX version comes with a brushless motor, this EU based one does not. Thanks for pointing it out.

Still these things can work... For a long time. We have a few cordless drills ( i do a lot of roofing) and the dewalt by far out performs bosch ingco ryobi etc. I can say that about all their tools.
Glws

Bosch, Ryobi, etc. can't (and shouldn't) be compared to the likes of DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Hilti, Festool, etc. Bosch and Ryobi are fine for people who use them every now and then. Rest of the time they just sit in the garage gathering dust.

The like of DeWalt, Makita, etc. are for everyday use. They are workhorses used by professionals, day in and day out. They cost a lot of money but they are worth it because at the end of the day they put the food on the table, a roof over your head.

I still have my 18V Makita impact driver and combi set from 11 years ago that I bought when I did carpentry in the UK. They still work today and they still as strong as ever.
